War and Peace
On a stinking hot summer’s day in a remote country town in Australia, called Wagga Wagga. Pauline jumped into the front passenger seat of a friend’s car to go to dinner. And as she turned around to meet her fellow travellers, her eyes met… her own eyes as they were distorted and reflected in Rae’s fashionable Oakley M-Frames.
Rae was too cool for school. She was a Corporal and had just been posted in as an Army Recruit Instructor. She was a real-life GI Jane. Being a Recruit Instructor was a dream come true for her!
Pauline on the other hand was a rebel without a clue. She was a Nursing Officer, newly promoted Captain and full of disgust for a posting she never wanted. She had three years to make the best out of a bad situation… and she wasn’t in a hurry to get started.
These two women’s lives were worlds apart, and they should never have become friends… But fate had other ideas.
They quickly forged a friendship and relationship that would stand the test of time. But time would never be a problem, other things would try to be.
Over the years, “The System” tried to break them by posting them to apart. Illness and injuries pushed them to the edge of their resolve… but they stayed strong.
Even that time they went to war together wasn’t enough to break them apart. It just pulled them closer together (not like that, there was no fraternization!)

Everything they experienced just strengthened their commitment to each other.
Eventually, enough was finally enough. And when they were faced with a choice of staying together or staying in the military separately… they chose each other.
From Military to Metaphysics to Marketing, and Beyond…
And so, their began entrepreneurial journey…
But first they had to un-brainwash themselves from a combined 30 years of military influence. And they also had to recover from career ending injuries (for Rae) and mental illness (for Pauline).
They both immersed themselves into the world of personal development, business building and even a bit of metaphysics. And they jumped down the rabbit hole, touched the bunny’s butt… followed the wormhole and were spat out the other side.
Their strong military discipline and work ethic, mixed with their curiosity and compassion, and their desire to help other people reach their potential have helped them to become the women they are today.
So, who are these ladies now? Let’s meet them…
Pauline Longdon:

“Like a red flag to a bull… Never say never or tell Pauline she can’t do something.”
After conventional medical treatment failed her, Pauline needed to look outside the box. And luckily, she did.
By incorporating metaphysical principles and alternative healing modalities, Pauline was able to take the edge off depression, enough to keep it at bay.
The next natural step was for Pauline to start a business as an alternative healing practitioner. But she was often asked if she could teach people how to do the method on themselves. So, she travelled to America to train as a teacher. (She became the first Australian Master in the healing modality.)
With a desire to help more people, she hired a marketing company to to scale up her business. And when she got the copy back it made her cry. Not with joy or excitement… but with dread and shock.
She asked for the copy to be rewritten and was told that if she thought she could do a better job… then do it. She didn’t think it was possible to do any worse, so she had a go.
It turned out she could write! And write well.
People started to ask Pauline to write copy for them.
To be the best copywriter she could be for her clients, she followed her instinct and studied both copywriting and marketing.
She has been trained and mentored by the greats in the direct response industry. People like Clayton Makepeace, Parris Lampropoulos, Carline Anglade Cole, Dan Kennedy, John Carlton, Todd Brown, AWAI and many more (click to view our “Brag Board”).
Pauline is passionate about using what she has learned to help others improve their lives.
She is a best-selling author, international speaker and a secret weapon to many business owners.
On the Breaking Through The B.S. podcast, Pauline will share her unique “Pauline’s Perspective” on life and business. Her weekly “Knowledge Nugget” emails are well regarded within the industry and read all around the world, and if they are any indication of the value Pauline will give you… you’re in for a real treat!
Rae Brent:

“Integrity, Discipline, and Determination are the core of Rae’s character!”
When Rae wasn’t busy turning undisciplined civilians into battle ready soldiers, she was dealing with money. Lots of it.
Rae was in the Royal Australian Army Pay Corp, which meant she was responsible for the pay and finances of personnel and units.
When she was deployed to East Timor in 2002, she was the mobile cash office (like an ATM on wheels). Each week, she’d travel from Dili to the border region paying soldiers and the local civilian workers cash.
She thought nothing of driving around a semi hostile region in the only silver 4X4 in the country… with around $50,000 USD (equivalent to $100,000 AUD) in the vehicle. Sure, she was well armed, but so were the militia.
Luckily, she was never robbed, and she never had a single dollar go missing. Her dedication to her work made her oblivious to the danger she was in, but some friendly infantry men were kind enough to tell her they thought their job was way safer than hers.
Rae has been the woman behind the woman, as she supported and joined Pauline in her business ventures.
On one of the rare occasions she let the world see her shine, Rae released a best-selling book “The Money Mirror.” Her book simplifies wealth creation and empowers the reader to regain control of their finances.
She is passionate about helping people break out of the debt cycle and discover how to discipline their dollars. She is walking proof that what she shares works.
Rae has done many of the metaphysical, copywriting and marketing courses Pauline’s done, and is an accomplished copywriter in her own right. However, she prefers to use her skills on her own businesses.
On the Breaking Through The B.S. Podcast, Rae will share her refreshing and inspirational wisdom. Her no B.S. approach to life will help you break through your own B.S.
Between Rae’s logical, pragmatic viewpoint and Pauline’s “out there,” curious observations, you may never see things the same way again… and that is probably a good thing. They’ll have you breaking through the B.S. in no time at all!
